We are seeking an experienced ICU Nursing Supervisor to lead and support our Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU) team. 🫀 Position Snapshot:
As the Nursing Supervisor for the CICU, you will provide leadership and oversight to a 27-bed cardiac and medical critical care unit. This unit specializes in pre- and post-operative cardiac patients, cardiomyopathy requiring mechanical circulatory support, heart failure, post-MI care, and complex interventions such as IABP, Swan-Ganz, CRRT, TTM, DKA management, pacemakers, severe sepsis, and respiratory failure.

Under the direction of the Nurse Manager or Director, you will oversee daily unit operations, ensure high-quality patient care, and support staff in achieving clinical excellence.

🩺 What You'll Do:

  • Oversee daily operations and nursing staff in the CICU

  • Support Charge Nurses, Relief Charge Nurses, and bedside staff

  • Ensure adherence to standards of nursing practice and patient safety

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality care

  • Facilitate staff education, training, and professional growth

  • Participate in clinical decision-making for complex cardiac cases

  • Accurately document unit and patient care activities

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelors Degree in Nursing (required)

  • California RN License (upon hire)

  • National Provider BLS (AHA) certification (upon hire)

  • 2+ years recent ICU or specialty area clinical experience

  • Charge Nurse or Relief Charge Nurse experience

  • Strong leadership, communication, and critical thinking skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Masters Degree in Nursing

  • Previous formal leadership experience
