Key Responsibilities

Represent clients in felony and misdemeanor jury trials, from
arraignment through verdict
- Develop comprehensive defense strategies across a broad range of criminal charges
- Draft motions, negotiate with prosecutors, and advocate during hearings and sentencing
- Guide clients through complex legal proceedings with professionalism and empathy
- Collaborate with support staff to deliver effective case management from intake to resolution
Qualifications

Juris Doctor (JD) and active license to practice in Iowa (or ability to
obtain quickly)
- Minimum 5 years of criminal defense experience, with proven jury trial experience

Excellent courtroom presence and confident oral advocacy skills

Strong file management and organizational abilities
