Position Overview

An established and growing engineering design firm is seeking a Licensed Professional Civil Engineer (PE) to join its Rogers, AR office. This position is ideal for a self-motivated engineer with at least 5 years of experience in site development, land development, or municipal infrastructure projects.

As a lead engineer, you will plan, develop, and manage engineering projects of varying size and complexity, while collaborating with clients and guiding junior staff. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage civil engineering projects from concept through construction.

  • Develop and review site development plans, grading, drainage, and utility layouts.
  • Provide oversight on municipal infrastructure designs.

  • Maintain regular communication with clients and project stakeholders.

  • Oversee junior team members and provide technical mentorship.

  • Monitor project timelines, budgets, and profitability.

  • Ensure all work complies with local, state, and federal regulations.

  • Prepare technical reports, specifications, and project documentation.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (Masters degree is a plus)

  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Arkansas, or eligible via comity

  • 5+ years of progressive civil engineering experience

  • Experience in site development, land development, or public infrastructure projects

  • Proficient in engineering principles, systems, and construction practices

  • Familiarity with Civil 3D or similar CAD/design tools is a plus

  • Strong leadership, communication, and client relationship skills

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
